This year we’ll be looking at what’s changed in the last 12 months, how microchipping and database play a part in other areas of animal life, and an update on legal points of view. Our conferences create a space and a forum for veterinary professionals, animal rescues, dog wardens etc. to:
- Stay abreast of industry changes for pet microchip databases in the UK
- Keep up to date on legislation
- Understand what they can expect from AMDO member databases’ best practice.
We’re still finalising the exact running order for our agenda, but expect:
- An update from Defra on issues they’ve tackled in the last 12 months
- Learn about the challenges Trading Standards face in tackling animal harm
- An exciting look at hedgehog rescue
- Insights to organisations working to achieve freedom for people and pets fleeing domestic abuse
- Microchipping and the law.
There’s plenty of time built in for Q&A on the sessions as well as opportunities to put your questions to our database panel.
The conference will take place on 18 November 2025. Early bird tickets are only £5 if you buy before 31 October and £10 from 1 November 2025.
